Caribbean Regals Steel band specialises and provides steel band hire, steel drum soloist and steel drum workshop at a professional level for all events or occasion. Caribbean Regals Steel band was founded by Sofia, who is a qualified musician and a holder of a (Ba Hons in music) degree.
With over 25 years of playing and teaching the steel pans at a professional level in her native country (Jamaica), Trinidad and across the Europe her reliability, punctuality and service are exceptional and guaranteed to provide the best for your money we have over 4000 bookings under our belt.
All our players are professional musician with years of playing and teaching of the steel drums locally and abroad, so If you are looking for a steel band, steel drum workshop, steel drum soloist or steel drum lesson, we specialise and accommodate all; we can also tailor a package to your suit and needs.
Many of us have also played overseas including the Caribbean, cruise ships and across Europe.
Our repertoire embraces a wide array of music and different cultures, consisting genres such as Reggae, Souls, Soca, ska, pop, calypso, jazz, gospel, folk, classical, and others.
Many of our musicians are from the Caribbean and we also have a good contingent of home grown talent, either leant from our own teachers or from trips to the Caribbean.
Our Steel band (Caribbean Regals Steel band ) are well known for the our professionalism , Punctuality and our unique sound. .The Caribbean regals steel band will always bring the fun and sunshine and the Caribbean vibes your party.
Our steel drum workshop are designed for children and adults to have a hands-on experience; it also allows participants to experience the steel pan in the form of presentations and performances. Our workshops have proven to be popular because the instrument and the music allows the children to express themselves, but more importantly teaches them to appreciate another musical culture and its history.

Caribbean Regals Steel Band are available for any occasion or engagements, the size of our steel bandsor steel drum band varies, our steel band size starts from a steel drum soloist to a 6 piece steel band, other sides can be supply at your request.
When hiring a steel band there are a few things you need to think about, such as your budget and the purpose for hiring the band, this help to determine the size of the band that you need to enquire about.

Steel Drum Soloist – perfect for people on a small budget or little space, this involves, a single person playing the lead pan (Tenor Pan) accompany by backing tracks. Steel Drum soloist Can be booked for any occasion and events ,you get the same vibes and atmosphere at your party for a cheaper price.

Steel pan Duo – will suit any occasion or events. This combination varies, you can either have a front line and a mid rang pan with backing track or drum machine, or a front line pan and a keyboard, it depends on the players that are available at the time of your booking, Steel pan duo Can be booked for any occasion and events such as weddings, private parties anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions, etc. steel pan lessons are available upon request

Steel band Trio- Most request sides out of all. A steel band trio consists of a front line pan, mid range pan and bass player with a drum machine, or a frontline and mid range pan with a keyboard. A steel band trio can be booked for any occasion and events such as weddings, private parties anniversaries, birthdays and special occasions, etc. steel pan lessons are available upon request.

Steel Band Quartet – perfect for large occasion or any events. This includes a combination of three steel pans and a bass player with a drum machine or a keyboard.Steel band Quintets – perfect for medium or large venue. This is a combination of 4 steel pans, bass player and drum machine or 4 steel pans with a keyboard.

We can also cater for acoustic booking at request. This is a mixture of steel pans and percussion.

My name is Sofia, I was born in the Caribbean ,i have been playing steel drums for over 20 years ,I started playing the steel drum at a tendered age. with no musical knowledge and no common sense about the Steel drum I fell in love with the instrument and learn to love and appreciate the instrument.
I am a university graduate with a BA (Hons) in music My continually expanding repertoire of music is very diverse, covering genres such as Jazz, Classical, Pop, Reggae, Calypso, and gospel.
My commitment and ability to demonstrate the great musical passionate of the pan have take me places such as Trinidad &Tobago, Panama, Turks and Cacaos, Etc. One of my greatest achievements to date was getting the chance to represent my country at the ‘World steel pan festival’, held in Trinidad & Tobago. i can be book for any occasion large or small and are perfect for people on a limited budget.

Steeldrum Workshop
We offer 3 basic steel drum music workshops for full day or half day.

Taster Workshops -Taster workshops are available for schools and groups across the UK and beyond. Tasters workshops can take place over one, two or three days with the option of an assembly presentation and a performance. This involves 10 -16 sets of steel drums along with 3 tutors. ?This is an ideal way to introduce steel pan music to your school; we provide the instruments and tutors, so there is no need to worry. With this type of workshop, we can only cover 4 classes per a day.

Informal work Shop – This is the most popular workshop in schools and college; this workshop takes place over one day or half day and can accommodate 1- 7 classes. This involves 2 or 3 tutors coming in to deliver the workshop, with their own steel pans. This kind of workshop is divided into 30 or 45 minutes segments.
